Job Opening: Director of Youth and Worship Ministries
We seeking a full-time Director of Youth and Worship Ministries to join our community. Your primary purpose will be to inspire dynamic worship and lead our youth and young adult ministries, with a strong focus on leadership development, discipleship, and volunteer mentorship.

What You Will Do

Ministry Programing: Plan and develop engaging activities and worship for youth and young adults, ensuring alignment with the church’s mission and vision.

Leadership Development: Promote, encourage, and actively implement a strategy for leadership development and succession planning across all youth and worship teams.

Worship Ministry: Assist in leading and planning worship, working with the Minister and Worship Committee. You will also organize, resource, and mentor the Praise Team.

Group Leadership: Lead youth and young adult groups and participate in community programs like Youth for Christ.

Pastoral Care: Provide initial spiritual direction and pastoral care for youth, young adults, and their families.

Digital Presence: Maintain the church’s digital presence related to youth and worship (e.g., social media, coordinating livestreaming).

Required Gifts & Experience:

A passionate and Dynamic Professing Christian, aligned with the church’s theological framework.

Strong Leadership: Proven ability to lead, delegate, and empower volunteers.

Worship and Musical Talent: Strong interest in worship, musically talented (plays a piano or guitar), and proficient in leading congregational worship.

Experience as a youth worker/leader and an experienced worship musician/leader in a Christian Church setting.

Familiarity with digital media platforms for ministry communication.
Preferred (but not required) Assets:

A Bachelor's Degree in Christian or Religious Education from an accredited Institution, or current enrollment in a recognized seminary program (e.g., Calvin Theological Seminary programs).

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position. While flexibility is inherent in ministry, a commitment to predictable in-office hours is expected to ensure accessibility to staff, volunteers, and congregants. Specific office hours are negotiable with the Council during the hiring process.
